This session is designed as the starting point for your restorative treatment journey and focuses on creating a calm, grounded, and supportive experience where the body and nervous system can begin to settle safely into rest.
I begin by working gently and predictably, allowing your body time to build trust within the treatment process rather than rushing immediately into deeper restorative work. Many women spend so long living in states of stress, pressure, overstimulation, and emotional responsibility that the body often needs consistency and safety before it can fully soften and let go.
This session creates space for your nervous system to slow down, decompress, and reconnect with a sense of calm, support, and safety within the body again.
Ideal if you are feeling emotionally or physically overwhelmed, carrying stress or exhaustion, struggling to fully relax, or looking for a gentler and more supportive approach to massage and bodywork.
Please check with your GP or get in touch before booking if any of the following apply:
Pregnancy (especially first trimester or high-risk pregnancy)
Recent surgery or injury
Acute inflammation, infection, or fever
Severe or unmanaged mental health conditions
History of seizures or sound sensitivity (e.g. epilepsy)
Cardiovascular conditions (e.g. uncontrolled high blood pressure, heart conditions)
Deep vein thrombosis (DVT) or blood clotting disorders
Cancer (current or recent—medical approval may be required)
Chronic pain conditions that are currently flared or unstable
Skin conditions, open wounds, or contagious conditions
If you’re unsure, it’s always better to check first. Sessions can often be adapted, but your safety comes first.
Just come as you are. Everything you need for the session is provided.
You may want to bring:
Comfortable clothing
Water for after your session
Arrive with a little time to settle, and if possible, keep your schedule light afterwards so you can fully absorb the effects of the session.
